WORSHIP EXODUS
Worship Exodus is a Christian, non-profit, inter-denominational, international worship event that takes place annually in Cameroon. Since 2019, Worship Exodus has brought together Christian artists, worship leaders and a variety of gospel music ministers to lift the name of Jesus through spirit-filled praise and worship. Worship Exodus’ mission is to provide a platform for Christian artists and worship leaders to express their musical gifting thereby impacting the world with their sound.
Gospel music as an art form has been around for centuries, but has only gained mainstream prominence in Africa as a genre to be reckoned with in the past few decades. Worship Exodus aims to preserve the heritage of Cameroonian gospel music, while increasing the opportunities for its perpetuation through other industries, new arenas and the world at large through the strength of partnerships.
The Worship Exodus organizing team believes very firmly in the power of music as a tool for social change and especially the potency of spiritual (gospel) music to cause long lasting behavioral change beyond the obvious entertainment value that the music provides. We also believe that excellence and professionalism are non-negotiable when communicating the Christian message through the powerful medium of music.
